Seymour - Race 2 2pm AEDT

No. 7 Chase Your Dreams

Chase Your Dreams is second up and primed for a big effort today at Seymour.

Having filled the minors on debut at Cranbourne in August before being sent for a spell, Chase Your Dreams returned to action with a fair performance to finish third again at Echuca.

She strips fitter for that effort and with luck from the draw today, I think she can begin her rise through the grades.

Seymour - Race 5 3:30pm AEDT

No. 5 Charcoals

Charcoals resumes in a winnable race today at Seymour.

The Too Darn Hot gelding returned to action in September to fill the minors behind Grinzinger Love at Echuca and was sent for a break after breaking his maiden.

He’s turned in a couple of nice trial performances ahead of his return and this looks a lovely launchpad.

Seymour - Race 6 4pm AEDT

No. 1 Grid Girl

Grid Girl is another galloper that looks well placed first up from a spell today at Seymour.

The Time Test mare was excellent last time in, winning two of four starts, including a Sandown 1400m contest at this point of her prep.

The barrier is the knock today but two slick trials at Flemington recently add plenty of confidence.

Seymour - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT

No. 3 Stepchild

Stepchild is third up and primed to strike today at Seymour.

The Alpine Egale gelding finished fifth, beaten two and a half lengths at Mornington when resuming last month and kept his best work for late when third in a similar race over 1717m at Sale last time out.

I like that he has been back to the trials since that race and the mile looks suitable.
