Dale is third up and will take plenty of beating today at Tamworth.
The Castelvecchio gelding returned to action to finish on the placegetters’ heels up at Scone, before only just missing at Muswellbrook last time out.
With further improvement, he might not get a better opportunity to win than this.

No. 8 Starsarise
Starsarise steps out today second up and primed for a big performance.
Starsarise made two appearances at the races during her debut campaign without a lot of luck, while she returned to action this time to fill the minors, beaten only a length in a similar race at Muswellbrook.
She has plenty of upside and is drawn ideally today.
Tamworth - Race 6 4:10pm AEDT
No. 1 Rematch
Rematch resumes in a very winnable race this afternoon.
Rematch hasn’t been seen at the races since June, but he turned in some fine performances last time in, winning a Highway race at Rosehill most notably and finding form around some quality opposition.
A couple of recent trials add further confidence, and he is my best bet on the program.

No. 5 Autofocus
Autofocus is the one for me in the last at Tamworth this afternoon.
Autofocus has been a model of consistency for Melanie O’Gorman and connections since debuting, and she returned to action with a fine performance to finish third, beaten less than a length here earlier this month.
She won her only other second-up run to date and has options today from the rails draw.
