Minnesota Timberwolves vs Houston Rockets
11:10am, Target Center

Bit of a pick ‘em game here between two serious playoff contenders in the West. The Rockets have lost four straight, but they do have the rest advantage with the Wolves playing the second of a back to back. For whatever reason, Minnesota just feels a little off right now, as seen in the first half against the Bulls last night where they struggled in transition on the back of turnover. Overall, their 4-5 record at the line when playing on no rest is worrying, alongside the fact they lost to the lowly Wizards exactly a week ago.

Tip: Back the Rockets to Cover the Line (+1 Point)

LA Clippers vs Indiana Pacers
1:40pm, Intuit Dome

Winners of seven of their last 10, the Pacers were considered one of the hottest teams in the league prior to Wednesday’s loss in Portland. On the other side, the Clippers have lost two straight to the Raptors and Lakers, but I think they look a good bet in this spot given their 10-5 record at the line against non-conference opponents. Away from trends, this is also an interesting spot for the Pacers with Sunday’s game against the Lakers looming large in what is also Luka Doncic’s debut. Sporting a –3.5 start, I’m willing to bet on Indiana’s focus potentially being elsewhere.

Tip: Back the Clippers to Cover the Line (-3.5 Points)
