Midweek racing goes provincial on Wednesday, February 12th when seven races are run and won at Hawkesbury.
Some notable rain throughout the last week has seen the Hawkesbury track rated in the Soft (7) range at publish, while the rail will be left in the true position for the meeting.
Read on for our complete Hawkesbury tips.

HRC Motel 2&3YO Maiden Plate (1000m)
I’m confident that Tsavo will take plenty of improvement into his second career start at Hawkesbury on Wednesday.
Tsavo stepped out at The Valley on debut in December and raced greenly to ultimately finish seventh.
He’s had a couple of trials since then, while he has drawn well this week in what does look a weaker race.

Pioneer Services Super 3YO Maiden Plate (1100m)
I was keen on the second-up California Command when fields were confirmed but with his scratching, I think the debutant Matera will be tough to beat.
A colt by Extreme Choice, Matera has turned in some fine trial performances ahead of this debut and it looks a lovely launchpad for him.

XXXX Gold Midway 4YO&Up Maiden Handicap (1100m)
Able Yellow is another debutant I have my eye on today.
By Justify and out of the multiple Group 1 winner Srikandi, Able Yellow has trialled very well ahead of this debut.
He is drawn ideally today and can begin is journey through the grades.

Irresistible Pools And Spas Maiden Plate (1400m)
Sensational Wind is second up and primed to strike.
Having finished fifth on debut at Rosehill back in July, Sensational Wind turned in a similar performance at Randwick-Kensington when resuming this year.
She’s open to natural improvement and breeding suggests she’ll relish getting further out in trip this week.

Richmond Club CG&E BM64 Handicap (1400m)
I thought that this looked a nice opportunity for Fortingall to bounce back.
Fortingall didn’t enjoy much luck at Newcastle when returning from a break and ultimately finished down the order, but he showed plenty of ability during his debut preparation in winning two of three starts.
He’s open to plenty of improvement today and drawn to receive a far better time of it under Adam Hyeronimus.

Race 6 - 5:15pm AEDT
Clarendon Tavern F&M BM64 Handicap (1400m)
Just In Time looms as another key winning chance for the Maher stable at Hawkesbury on Wednesday.
Just In Time produced a fine performance to finish fifth, beaten just a length and a half at Randwick-Kensington first up from a spell.
With natural improvement, dropping back into what looks a weaker contest and under the urgings of Tim Clark, this looks a perfect race for her.

Good Luck Kyle Cassim Provincial BM64 Handicap (1100m)
Money Team looms as the one to beat in the last at Hawkesbury.
The I Am Invincible gelding didn’t miss placing in four starts last time in, while he returned to action at Wyong last month with an improved performance to break his maiden.
He strips fitter for that run and something like this looks the next logical target for him.
