Our Wyong preview focuses on the midweek racing which goes provincial on Wednesday, and you can find a full list of Wyong best bets below!
Eight races will be run and won north of Sydney and the rail will be left in the true position, while at publish we’re faced with a track rated in the Soft (7) range at publish.
If you’re chasing Wyong tips, you’re undoubtedly in the right place!
Race 1 - 1:45pm AEDT
Sixt Australia Truck And Car Rentals F&M BM64 Handicap (1200m)
Hyperbolic resumes in a winnable race at Wyong in the first to kick off our Wyong preview.
The Proisir filly hasn’t been seen at the races since December, but she ended her last prep with consecutive and impressive victories.
She’s trialled well ahead of today’s return, and this looks an appropriate campaign launchpad.

Race 2 - 2:20pm AEDT
Tuggerah Mitsubishi Maiden Plate (1000m)
Another first-up galloper I have my eye on at Wyong on Wednesday is Alpine Ski in Race 2.
Alpine Ski made just three appearances at the races during his debut preparation, finishing the runner up twice and running into some quality opposition in the process.
He’s been given a couple of quiet trials in the lead-up to today’s return and he can use it as a springboard into something better.

Race 3 - 2:55pm AEDT
Barry Burns Memorial Midway Maiden Handicap (1300m)
We’ve got a reasonably short favourite going around in the third at Wyong on Wednesday (at publish) in Piperita, but this looks to be a very open race in my opinion, and I am keen to take her on.
One that appeals at big odds is Kerala for Kim Waugh ($17 at publish).
Kerala raced greenly on debut at Port Macquarie last month and finished down the order, but she enjoyed big improvement into a near miss here at Wyong last time out.
Fitter third-up and with Jay Ford sticking, I think she has genuine each way claims.

Race 4 - 3:30pm AEDT
Mingara Leisure Group Super Maiden Plate (1600m)
Stormbringer is third up and ready to break his maiden.
The Pride Of Dubai gelding filled the minors on debut at Nowra last month and was only denied by an impressive Maison Louis at Goulburn last time out.
Getting out to a mile this week looks to suit, and a victory doesn’t look far off.

Race 5 - 4:05pm AEDT
APG Medallion Recipients Conditions BM68 Handicap (1600m)
Kenmare Bay looks well placed to strike at Wyong on Wednesday.
The New Bay gelding turned in some fine performances last time in and wasn’t disgraced in Listed company at Flemington in November, while he returned to action to finish a length second over 1350m here.
He placed at this point of his preparation last time in and he’s another one that should relish getting further out in trip this week.
2 Units Kenmare Bay
Race 6 - 4:40pm AEDT
Central Coast Golf Courses Provincial BM64 Handicap (1350m)
This is one of the better races on the program and there’s a case to be made for many of them, including Invade And Conquer.
Invade And Conquer was a model of consistency last time in, failing to finish outside of the first three at his last four appearances, while he returned to action to finish third over 1200m at Kembla Grange last month.
His condition just gave out a little that day, and if he can find his way forward again this week and dictate terms, I’m confident he can lead all the way.
2 Units Invade And Conquer
Race 7 - 5:15pm AEDT
APG Cup BM64 Handicap (1000m)
Bjorn Baker’s stable is absolutely flying, and they saddle up another key hope in Triple Tempo at Wyong on Wednesday.
Triple Tempo hasn’t been seen at the races since October, but she stamped herself as one to follow during a debut preparation that ended with a dominant maiden victory.
A couple of recently trial performances add confidence to her chances today and something like this looks well and truly within her abilities.

Race 8 - 5:50pm AEDT
NSW PGC CG&E BM64 Handicap (1200m)
Colophon is the one for me in the last at Wyong on Wednesday.
Colophon turned in several sharp performances last time in and returned to action with a nice effort to finish second in Class 1 company at Kembla Grange – he couldn’t have done a lot more without winning.
He strips fitter for that hit-out but will need some luck in running today from a wide draw.
