Eight races will be run and won and below, you can find a complete list of Wyong best bets for Wednesday, March 19th.
It’s the second-consecutive week that New South Wales’s major midweek program is contest at the provincial track and the rail will be set out three metres around the entire course, while we’re set to be racing on a track rated in the Good (4) range.
Read on for Wyong preview and tips.
Race 1 - 1:45pm AEDT
2YO Handicap (1350m)
Congressman is second up and open to plenty of improvement at Wyong on Wednesday.
The Snitzel colt showed promise at the trials prior to debuting and hit the line to follow the minors behind King Of Pop at Warwick Farm.
From a good draw and under James McDonald this week, he can begin his rise through the grades.

Beaveroo Plate (1100m)
Shivermepink looks well placed to break her maiden at Wyong.
Shivermepink went to the paddock after only just missing at Geelong back in April and returned from a lengthy break to place in a similar contest at Gosford.
I like that she has been back to the trials since that race and she’s another one that is open to plenty of improvement.

Race 3 - 2:55pm AEDT
Domeland Handicap (1000m)
Wondereach looks to have a class edge over plenty of his rivals this week and he can go on with it.
The Matt Smith-trained gelding has been racing in consistent form this time in and was rewarded with a dominant win in BM72 company at Warwick Farm last time.
He gets some relief in the weights under Braith Nock and has options from the rails draw.

Race 4 - 3:30pm AEDT
PBL Law Handicap (1600m)
Polymnia has opened a clear and justifiable favourite in betting ahead of the fourth at Wyong.
The Dundeel filly has had two starts since resuming from a break and was only just denied both times.
Fitter third-up, she might not be offered a better opportunity than this. I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and pump up my odds with Existential Bob running into the first three.
Same Race Multi selections:
- No. 1 Polymnia (Win)
- No. 4 Existential Bob (Top 3)
Race 5 - 4:05pm AEDT
Stephen Beaver Schofield Retirement Cup (2100m)
Seven’s is third up and ready to win on Wednesday.
The classy import has made two appearances at the races since arriving in Australia, filling the minors in midweek metro company at both.
The addition of James McDonald this week could be the difference along, but he looks to get ideal conditions as well, and he is my best bet on the program.

Race 6 - 4:40pm AEDT
Bishop Collins Accountants Handicap (1200m)
He faces a rise in class, but I thought that this looked the next logical target for President.
President wasn’t out of place in some decent black type company during his debut prep, going to the paddock after placing in Group 2 company, while he resumed to break his maiden at Rosehill last month.
The form out of that race has been franked and with natural improvement, this bloke looks a winning chance again at nice odds ($9 at publish).

Race 7 - 5:15pm AEDT
Carlton & United Breweries Handicap (1350m)
This looks another nice race for Sydney Bowler.
Sydney Bowler couldn’t have been more impressive during his debut preparation, winning each of his three starts, including a good Saturday metro race at Randwick.
He clearly needed his first run back this time to dust off the cobwebs, but I’m expecting big improvement with the benefit of that and getting a little further out in trip.

Race 8 - 5:50pm AEDT
Sky Racing Handicap (1350m)
I’m happy to stick with Rip Off when she goes around third-up at Wyong on Wednesday.
Rip Off finished second behind an impressive Mogul Monarch here at Wyong when resuming, while she was just over a length and a half behind the winner at Canterbury last time out.
Fitter third-up and from an inside draw, something like this doesn’t look beyond her.
