Useapin stamped herself as a filly to follow when recording consecutive victories at Wyong and Hawkesbury last year, while she returned to action for an eye-catching win at Gosford earlier this month.
With natural improvement and under the urgings of James McDonald, she looks well placed again this afternoon at the Randwick-Kensington track.
Sandown - Race 5 4:50pm AEDT
No. 2 Proved
Proved puts his unbeaten record on the line in another very winnable race at Sandown this afternoon.
The Time Test mare returned to action for an eye-catching win out at Sale and franked that with a career-best performance so far at Pakenham earlier this month.
Randwick-Kensington - Race 8 5:50pm AEDT
No. 8 Brutal Bowler
Brutal Bowler has recorded only one win from seven trips to the races so far, but he let down well to fill the minors in Class 1 company when resuming.
That one victory was recorded at this point of his preparation, and he’s drawn to receive a lovely run from an inside barrier today.
Sandown - Race 6pm AEDT
No. 2 Conchiero
Conchiero returned to action with a fine performance behind Spaceballs up at Warwick Farm in February and enjoyed plenty of improvement into an easy win over the likes of Polymnia last time out.
The form out of that race has been franked and the horse has been kept up to the mark with a trial since.
