Midweek racing heads back to Sydney on Wednesday, March 26th and eight races will be contested at Randwick-Kensington.
Our Randwick-Kensington tips feature a couple of horses at odds stepping back from strong Saturday company, including Key Largo, who is going around at a $26 quote (at publish) in Race 6.

Race 1 - 1:45pm AEDT
CHC Powering The Chase Handicap (1100m)
Mednyi takes winning form into this contest and can go on with it.
Mednyi returned to action to finish third, beaten less than a length at Newcastle last month and took plenty of improvement into a lovely win in maiden company last time out.
I like that he has been kept up to the mark with a trial since that race, and something like this looks the next logical step for him to take.

Race 2 - 2:20pm AEDT
Victor Ludurum First Yearlings Handicap (1100m)
The well-bred Spice Prawn is second up and open to improvement in Sydney on Wednesday.
By Too Darn Hot and out of the multiple Group 1 winner Cosmic Endeavour, Spice Prawn trialled fairly before debuting with a fine performance to finish on the placegetters’ heels here earlier this month.
With natural improvement for that experience, she can begin her rise through the grades today.
1 Unit Spice Prawn
Race 3 - 2:55pm AEDT
Drinkwise Plate (1300m)
Marais is third-up and primed to strike on Wednesday.
The Capitalist gelding is a nine-start maiden, but he’s missed placing just once so far, and his two runs back this time have suggested a victory isn’t far away.
Fitter third-up and under these conditions, he looks ready to win.
1 Unit Marais
Race 4 - 3:30pm AEDT
Buy An Arrowfield Yearling Handicap (1800m)
I thought that Campaldino looked beautifully placed to strike this week.
Campaldino raced consistently in metro company last time in and ended his preparation with a credible performance in Group 3 company, while he was good into second behind Mawjood here when resuming earlier this month.
The rise in trip this week looks perfect, and he is my best bet on the program.
4 Units Campaldino
Race 5 - 4:05pm AEDT
Hawaii Five Oh @ Vinery Stud Handicap (1150m)
Useapin stamped herself as a filly to follow when recording consecutive victories at Wyong and Hawkesbury last year, while she returned to action for an eye-catching win at Gosford earlier this month.
With natural improvement and under the urgings of James McDonald, she looks well placed again this afternoon.
2 Units Useapin
Race 6 - 4:40pm AEDT
Vinnie – Three-Time Champion Sire Handicap (1150m)
It has been a long time since Key Largo won a race, but I think he looks a genuine each way contender at huge odds this week ($26 at publish).
Key Largo is a stakes-performed galloper and finished seventh of eight gallopers at Randwick when resuming, but the effort was far better than the result suggested, and he was just over a length behind the winner Spring Lee.
With natural improvement and dropping in class, he looks to have genuine claims at the big price.
1 Unit E/W Key Largo
Race 7 - 5:15pm AEDT
Asahi Super Dry Handicap (1550m)
This looms as one of, if not the most open race on Wednesday’s program in Sydney and there’s a case to be made for a few of them, including Arqana.
Arqana is yet to place in two runs back from a break, but both were contested in strong Saturday company down at Flemington.
Fitter third-up and dropping back to the midweeks, she has genuine claims this week.
1 Unit E/W Arqana

Brutal Bowler has recorded only one win from seven trips to the races so far, but he let down well to fill the minors in Class 1 company when resuming.
That one victory was recorded at this point of his preparation, and he’s drawn to receive a lovely run from an inside barrier.
