Alexander Zverev vs Arthur Fils
1.00am
Back Zverev to Win 2-0 @ $1.85
Top seed Alexander Zverev has cruised into the Miami Masters’ Round of 16, where he’ll lock horns with 17th-seeded Frenchman Arthur Fils.
Zverev is 3-1 against Fils, who won their Hamburg Open final showdown last year. Zverev bounced back with a victory at the Paris Masters late last season – their only hard-court meeting to date.
Bouncing back from a shock first-up loss to Tallon Griekspoor at Indian Wells, Australian Open runner-up Zverev has overwhelmed Jacob Fearnley and Jordan Thompson in straight sets.
Twenty-year-old Fils, who went down to Daniil Medvedev in the Indian Wells quarter-finals in his best ATP 1000 result, progressed past Gabriel Diallo due to second-set retirement and 16th seed Frances Tiafoe 7-6 5-7 6-2.
Seven-time Masters winner Zverev is yet to win a Sunshine Double event, but he was the runner-up in Miami in 2018 and reached the semis last year. Fils will provide stiff resistance but the German looks to be dialled in this week.
Francis Cerundolo vs Grigor Dimitrov
1.00am
Back Cerundolo to Win @ $2.05
Francisco Cerundolo has already eliminated two higher-ranked players at the Miami Masters and is eyeing off a third in the shape of quarter-final opponent Grigor Dimitrov.
World No.24 Cerundolo has carried on the form he produced to reach the Indian Wells quarters – where he beat Alex de Minaur – to overwhelm Alexandre Muller, 12th seed Tommy Paul and fifth seed Casper Ruud in straight sets.
After an injury-interrupted period, 15th-ranked Dimitrov beat Nuno Borges and Gael Monfils at Indian Wells (like Cerundolo, he was halted by Carlos Alcaraz) and has disposed of Federico Cina, Karen Khachanov and Brandon Nakashima in Miami.
Dimitrov won their only previous encounter, at the 2023 Queen’s Club Championships. But Cerundolo is riding a wave of confidence after beating some of the ATP’s top performers over the past couple of weeks – and he’s hard to overlook as a slight outsider.
Alexandra Eala vs Iga Swiatek
1.00am
SGM – Back Swiatek to Win and Eala to Cover the Games Handicap (+6.5) @ $2.09
Teenaged giant-killer Alexandra Eala has produced the best run of her career so far to reach the Miami Masters quarter-finals – and a maiden showdown with superstar second seed Iga Swiatek.
World No.140 Eala, who is yet to appear in the main draw of a grand slam, has upset Katie Volynets (6-3 7-6), 25th seed Jelena Ostapenko (7-6 7-5), and world No.5 and Australian Open champ Madison Keys (6-4 6-2).
Paula Badosa pulled out the Round of 16 fixture against the 19-year-old Filipino.
Upset by Mirra Andreeva at Indian Wells after carving a devastating path to the semis, Swiatek has been typically solid in eliminating Caroline Garcia (6-2 7-5), Elise Mertens (7-6 6-1) and Elina Svitolina (7-6 6-3) in Miami.
Eala, a $10 longshot, will be the sentimental favourite, but a third major-winning victim is likely to be beyond her when she takes on the powerhouse Swiatek, who won this tournament in 2022 and has an imposing 19-2 record in WTA 1000 quarter-finals.
Emma Raducanu vs Jessica Pegula
1.00am
Back Raducanu to Cover the Games Handicap (+3.5) @ $1.91
Somewhat remarkably given she is a grand slam champion, Emma Raducanu is lining up in her first WTA 1000 quarter-final – but fourth seed Jessica Pegula is a $1.44 favourite to prevent the Brit from progressing any further.
The head-to-head is one-all, Pegula winning at the 2022 Cincinnati Masters and Raducanu at the 2024 Eastbourne International.
Injury-prone Raducanu arrived in Miami with a 3-6 record in 2025, including a first-round loss to Moyuka Uchijima at Indian Wells.
But the ultra-talented 22-year-old has regained top form to power past Sayaka Ishii, eighth seed Emma Navarro, Mccartney Kessler and Andreeva-conquering 17th seed Amanda Anisimova.
US Open runner-up Pegula kick-started her season by winning the ATX Open earlier this month, before going down to Elina Svitolina in the Round of 16 at Indian Wells.
The veteran has bookended a marathon three-set win over Anna Kalinskaya with straight-sets victories over Bernarda Pera and 23rd seed Marta Kostyuk in Miami.
Raducanu’s win over Pegula last year and her defeat of Navarro on the weekend were two of only three top-10 victories in her career. But she’s a compelling underdog in this one on current form.
