No. 3 True To Form
True To Form hasn’t been seen at the races since October, but he flies fresh and won each of his first two starts last preparation, beating home some classy opposition in the process.
He’s had the benefit of a trial ahead of his return and this looks an ideal launchpad for him.
Caulfield Heath - Race 5 3:20pm
No. 5 Close To Midnight
Close To Midnight returned to action with a fine performance to finish on the placegetters’ heels at The Valley last month, while he was only just denied in a phot finish at Pakenham most recently.
Fitter third up today and from a perfect draw, this looks a perfect opportunity for him to win.
Warwick Farm - Race 6 3:45pm
No. 6 Candlewick
Candlewick won two of three starts during her first campaign, including a dominant debut effort up at Wyong, while she was only just denied at her only other start.
With the benefit of two trials under her belt, she looks forward enough to win today.
Warwick Farm - Race 7 4:20pm
No. 2 Piastri
Piastri turned in some fine performances last year, striking in consecutive Saturday metro races most notably, while he was fair in his first run back from a break.
He’s yet to miss placing at this point of his preparation and gets conditions to suit this afternoon.
