See below for our expert Thursday daily racing tips for May 22nd including Pakenham best bets.

Pakenham - Race 1 4:45pm

No. 4 Saltburn

Saltburn has been knocking on the door and gets a great chance to win tonight at Pakenham.

The Team Corstens-trained gelding has placed in four of five starts since debuting and worked home well over 1425m at Geelong last time out.

Fitter third-up and with options from the rails draw, he’s ready to begin his rise through the grades.

Pakenham - Race 3 5:45pm

No. 4 Neverenoughlego

Neverenoughlego is second up and primed to strike this afternoon.

The Lindsay Park-trained galloper showed promise during a brief debut prep and returned to action with a fine performance to finish on the placegetters’ heels at Caulfield Heath.

With the benefit of that run and in what looks to be a weaker race, this is his opportunity to strike.

Pakenham - Race 5 6:45pm

No. 4 Betwitchery

Betwichery has returned in good order and looms as the one to beat in Race 5 at Pakenham this evening.

Betwitchery returned to action with a sharp performance to break his maiden at Benalla and hit the line behind the likes of Miss Swift in metro company last time out.

Fitter third-up and back into a provincial race, he can continue his journey through the grades.

Pakenham - Race 6 7:15pm

No. 7 Jakivy

Jakivy chases a hat-trick tonight at Pakenham.

The Toronado gelding has been up and racing for some time, but there’s no doubt at all that he’s found career-best form recently and was an eye-catching winning of a pair of races at this track and trip most recently.

He’s been freshened since his latest appearance and while this is one of the stronger races on the program, I’m still very keen on his chances.
