Game 2 of the West Finals sees the Thunder looking to build on their blowout Game 1 win over the Wolves. Ryan Cook shares his thoughts in our Friday Daily NBA Tips below.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Minnesota Timberwolves
10:30am, Paycom Center
Game 1 – OKC Leads 1-0

As I wrote prior to Game 1, this series has a serious defensive feel to it. The Thunder locked things down in the second half to hold the Wolves to 88 points, capitalizing on Minnesota’s sloppy turnovers to outscore them 12-0 on the fastbreak. Anthony Edwards (18 points) and Rudy Gobert (2 points, eight rebounds) had no real impact for the Wolves, while OKC also picked their pocket for 13 steals all up. The Thunder’s three-point shooting was elite compared to Minnesota, who shot below 30 per-cent from beyond the arc. All up, the Thunder have all the momentum in their favour, and until we see the Wolves adjust, I’ll keep backing the Thunder to win in low-scoring fashion.

Tip: Oklahoma City Thunder / Under 214.5 @ $2.55
