See below for our expert Wednesday daily racing tips for May 28th including Canterbury best bets!
Canterbury - Race 2 1:35pm
No. 1 Gunroom
Gunroom dusted off the cobwebs with a fair effort behind the likes of Nymphadora at Hawkesbury returning from a break and has since finished the runner up in consecutive midweek metro maidens.
He’s a fit horse and he might not be offered a better opportunity in town than this.
Canterbury - Race 4 2:45pm
No. 1 Just Feelin' Lucky
Just Feelin’ Lucky returned to action for an eye-catching victory in BM68 company up at Newcastle, while she was only denied an impressive Drift Net back in town at her latest appearance.
There isn’t a horse of that calibre engaged in this race, while with further improvement, she looks well placed to strike again.
Canterbury - Race 5 3:20pm
No. 8 Pink Shalaa
Pink Shalaa was a model of consistency last time in and went for a break after recording a lovely win at this track and trip in February, while his performance in BM72 company at Warwick Farm earlier this month was better than the result suggest.
He’s yet to miss placing at this point of his preparation and is further boosted by the booking of James McDonald.
Sale - Race 7 3:30pm
No. 9 Sacred Rocks
Sacred Rocks hardly put a hoof wrong during her debut campaign, winning first up before finishing the runner up in a pair of midweek metro races at Sandown.
She’s had the benefit of a couple of nice trials ahead of today’s return, and she should receive every chance under the urgings of in-form jockey, Blake Shinn.
