Indiana Pacers vs Oklahoma City Thunder
10:30am, Gainbridge Fieldhouse
We’re off to Indiana with the series all square. The Thunder put any doubt about their fourth quarter woes behind them in Game 2 when leading from start to finish, showcasing the championship resolve we’ve come to expect from this young team all season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was at his usual best, but so much of the win also boiled down to Andrew Wiggins’ 18 points off the pine. Unlike Game 1, the Pacers failed to mount a comeback in the final quarter, struggling to shoot from three all night whilst also being outscored 42-34 in the paint. On the plus side, Tyrese Haliburton found his stroke late in the game, something the Pacers will need to rely on early if they are to avoid another first quarter hole. That said, I’ve had my doubts about Indiana’s ability to transition in this series, and it’s becoming clear the Thunder are starting to find more open shooters from beyond the arc. The atmosphere at the Fieldhouse will play a factor, but I’m sticking with OKC to weather the storm.
Tip: Thunder 1-10 @ $2.80
