See below for our expert Sunday daily racing tips for June 22nd, including Cranbourne best bets!
Cranbourne - Race 2 12:45pm
No. 1 Ekanite
Ekanite rates as a key winning chance today for Chris Waller and Jordan Childs.
The Rubick gelding had many trials prior to his debut and worked home well to finish within a length of the winner at Geelong last month.
With natural improvement and from a good gate today, he looks well placed to break his maiden.
Cranbourne - Race 5 2:30pm
No. 10 Zakouma
Zakouma takes winning form into this contest.
The Crowded House gelding raced well without recording an elusive victory during his debut prep, but he got the monkey off his back with a dominant performance at Geelong earlier this month.
This is harder, but he’s open to improvement and it does look the next logical step for him to take.
Cranbourne - Race 6 3:10pm
No. 13 Belmia
I thought that Belmia looked well placed today at Cranbourne.
She’s yet to place in three runs back from a break, but Belmia stripped fitter for runs in BM70 company at the ‘Bool and Bendigo, and her run at Caulfield last time out was far better than a tenth placing suggests.
She’s fit and can get a nice run today from barrier 7, and we can have an each way play at the price.
Cranbourne - Race 7 3:50pm
No. 6 Bold Strike
Bold Strike rates as a key winning chance again today at Cranbourne.
The Ciaron Maher-trained gelding returned to action with a fine performance and victory in maiden company at Ararat, while he was far from disgraced at Sandown last time out.
Fitter third-up today, any improvement would see him into the finish again.
