Check out our complete Daily Greyhounds Tips for Wednesday June 10th below, featuring Richmond Best Bets.
This looks a competitive race with a number of runners bringing strong Richmond credentials and enough early pace to secure a favourable position.
Dollar Keeping owns the fastest course and distance figure in the field at 29.84, while Betty Bullpit and Miss Jack High have both been racing consistently against similar opposition.
At current odds, I’m keen to be with Dollar Keeping, whose proven speed over the track and trip gives him every chance to return to the winner’s circle.
| 7. Dollar Keeping (7) 62335T: Todd Barnes | |||
| Found some support last start but struggled and finished last in a Grade 5 on June 4 over 520m at Wentworth Park behind Hurry Tuncurry beaten 7 lengths (30.69). Placed two back at this track. Should show more than the latest offering. Has claims. | |||
Blue Franky takes winning form into another winnable race at Richmond.
The son of Feral Franky has missed placing once at his last seven trips to the races, winning twice including an eye-catching performance over this route last week.
From Box 2, he can lob up front and make all of his own luck.
| 2. Blue Franky (2) 41331T: John Chapman | |||
| Was prominent from the outset and held on well to win at this track over 520m in 29.98 last start, beating Duran Sting. Recorded two placings in a row before he was rewarded with a win most recently. Expected to go well again. | |||
A sharp sprint looms, with several runners bringing strong recent form and the sort of early speed that can be decisive around Richmond.
Houdini Escape stands out on times with a slick 18.24 PB and arrives off a last-start victory, while Barstool Dollars continues to race consistently and Tooth Keeping has shown plenty of promise in a short career.
The runner that appeals most is Houdini Escape, who looks capable of making full use of his superior speed if he begins cleanly.
| 7. Houdini Escape (7) 73321T: Christos Arletos | |||
| Impressive performance leading throughout to score by 2.5 lengths in a Grade 5 last start at this track, recording a slick 18.24 over the 320m journey. Should be in this for a long way. | |||
Spring Arrow is the one for me in the last at Richmond.
The son of Barcia Bale has turned in some nice performances in just four trips to the races since debuting, breaking his maiden here two back before only just missing out at Gunnedah last time out.
He’s got plenty of upside and can make his own luck up on the speed from the low draw.
| 3. Spring Arrow (3) 8312T: Scott Board | |||
| Last start finished 2nd over 340m at Gunnedah beaten 3.5 lengths (20.02) behind Robin Cargo in a Grade 5 on June 3. Has a strong 22.74 PB at this course and distance. Hard to beat. | |||
