We haven’t seen Jarrito at the races since November, but she absolutely flies fresh and beat home a classy field, including the likes of I Am Carrot and Fornelli at this point of her last preparation.
She’s trialled up well and is drawn ideally this afternoon under Rachel King.

| First-up. Finished off last preparation when last of 10 at Hawkesbury F&M Bm64 November 27 over 1100m, 11 len behind Nesrine with 58.5kg at $3.10. Previous preparation first-up won by 1.2 len Gosford Super Mdn November 11 over 1100m defeating I Am Carrot with 56kg at $1.50. Talented filly who can sprint well fresh from the low draw. | |||
Having returned to action with a fine performance to get up over 1250m here last month, Thames attracted some interest in the market when stepping out in BM78 company at Rosehill last time out but ultimately finished down the order.
With the benefit of that run under her belt, dropping back to the midweeks and with some relief in the weights under Anna Roper, she gets plenty of ticks today.

| Third-up today and won third-up previously. Resuming was well back until straightening; raced back then made ground from the turn; won by 0.7 len at this track 4yo+ Mares Bm72 May 13 over 1250m defeating Super Nui with 60kg at $7. Second-up 11th of 13 at Rosehill F&M Bm78 on May 30 over 1200m, on a wet track; 3 len behind Super Bright with 56kg at $13. Ready for this trip and has minor claims. | |||
Black Babylon clearly needed his first run back this preparation to tune up, but he has since only just been denied in a pair of BM72 races over 2100m and 2200m respectively at Warwick Farm.
He steps out this afternoon in peak condition, is proven on the soft going and is drawn to receive every chance in the run.
| 7. Black Babylon (4) J: Tom Sherry 57.5kg 5×922T: Annabel & Rob Archibald | |||
| Recent form sound. Last start ran on from midfield; 2nd of 10 at Warwick Farm Bm72 on June 3 over 2200m, slow going 0.6 len behind Le Troisir carrying 60kg at $5.50. Before that 2nd of 11 at Warwick Farm Bm72 on May 20 over 2110m, on rain affected going; 1.2 len behind So Suave carrying 59.5kg at $13. Don’t underestimate. | |||
Supermassive was a popular winner in BM64 company fresh from a spell, and while he was a little flat getting out to 1300m at Warwick Farm at his second run back, he was only just denied in virtually identical conditions last time out.
He’s hard fit this week, another small rise in trip looks to suit and he’ll looks well placed in a race of this quality.
| 1. Supermassive (9) J: Tim Clark 60.5kg 5×152T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott | |||
| Most recently held ground to the line 2nd of 12 at Warwick Farm Bm72 on May 20 over 1300m, in the wet; 0.5 len behind Sanctified with 59.5kg at $7. The run before that sat on the speed and boxed on steadily 5th of 11 at Warwick Farm Cg&E Bm72 on May 6 over 1300m, 2.5 len behind Iceman carrying 59.5kg at $3. At his peak for this and can go one better on a firmer deck. | |||
