The Valley - Race 1 6:15pm AEDT
No. 2 Burning Power
Burning Power got the job done at The Valley last start and she is well-placed to make it back-to-back wins.
She still looked to have plenty in hand when she got the job done last start and the scary thing for her rivals is that she still has the upside to improve.
Michael Dee can keep her out of trouble from barrier six and she has the turn-of-foot to finish over the top of this field.
The Valley - Race 4 7:45pm AEDT
No. 2 Vitruvius
Vitruvius will need some luck in running from barrier 12, but he is still the horse to beat in this contest.
He showed an excellent turn-of-foot to get the job done at Geelong two starts ago and he wasn’t disgraced in a stronger race than this at Flemington.
Tom Ryan can get him up and running a long way from home and he can finish over the top of his rivals late.
The Valley - Race 6 8:45pm AEDT
No. 4 Real Feeling
Real Feeling is the horse to beat in a strong edition of the Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge.
She has scored two wins on the trot over 1000 metres and the Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge does look like the perfect race for her.
Barrier five is ideal for her and she can make her own luck right on the speed.
The Valley - Race 7 9:15pm AEDT
No. 1 Confrontational
Confrontational is great value at his current quote of $6.50.
He chased home the promising Akecheta at The Valley last start and I don’t think that this race is any tougher.
There isn’t a huge amount of early speed in this contest and Matthew Cartwright can settle him just behind the speed in the early stages of the race.
