Warrnambool - Race 7 5.25pm AEDT
Accreditation drops back in class after he finished unlucky fifth at The Valley last start. This is a much weaker race and the rise in trip will suit. The wide barrier draw should prove to be an advantage as he gets a long way back anyway and he will have every chance to finish over the top of his rivals this afternoon.
Canberra - Race 1 1.15pm AEDT
Usain Brockstar may never have a better opportunity to record a maiden race win. He is a genuine 1000 metres specialist and he was only narrowly denied at Queanbeyan last start. He makes his own luck right on the speed and if he is able to replicate his last start effort he will be tough to beat at juicy odds.
Canberra - Race 3 2:25pm AEDT
Ribs has had issues during his racing career to date, but he does look to have more upside than his rivals in what is a very weak race. He was only narrowly denied at Canberra first-up and he is a horse that generally does improve with a run under his belt. With even luck in running he should prove too strong for this field.
Taree - Race 1 1.40pm AEDT
Saint Denis has proven to be a frustrating horse for punters during his racing career to date, but he gets his chance to record a maiden race win this afternoon. He can settle right on the speed in a race that doesn’t look to have a great deal of tempo and on exposed form he does have an edge over this field.
