Scone - Race 5 3.30pm AEDT
Vihari won well at Scone last start and a repeat of that effort would make her very tough to beat. She has shown a really nice turn-of-foot in each of her race starts and the step-up to a mile suits. She maps to get a lovely run into the race with Noel Callow in the saddle and she can make it two wins on the trot.

Missybeel drops back in class after racing fairly in tougher company than this at Newcastle and Wyong. She will need a bit of luck from the wide barrier draw, but she is still a promising filly and I would much rather be on her at the current price than the odds-on favourite Table Mountain.

Suncraze is the horse to beat in the 2018 Country Championship and he is deserving of his position as a dominant favourite for this content. She beat a stronger field than this to win at Royal Randwick first-up and I like the fact that trainer Melanie O’Gorman has given him a barrier trial in between races.

Sugar Dance was narrowly denied first-up at Orange and she should be able to take plenty of benefit from that run. He has drawn wide for this contest, but he does get back anyway and he has the turn-of-foot required to finish over the top of his rivals.
