Hawkesbury - Race 2 1.25pm AEST
Catesby was only narrowly denied at Kembla Grange last start and he has the opportunity to go one better this afternoon. The form coming out of that last start has been good and he is a horse that has improved each time that he has been seen at the races. He makes his own luck right on the speed and will be tough to run down late.
Hawkesbury - Race 3 2.05pm AEST
Florid has been racing well this preparation and on his best form he does have an edge over the rest of this field. He is a genuine 1000 metres specialist and it took a smart horse in the form of Adjective to beat him last start over this same track and distance. He will get a lovely trail into this race and will be there to pounce late.
Hawkesbury - Race 5 3:15pm AEST
Preferito has had his issues, but he has always looked to have plenty of talent and he heads into this race on the back of two impressive barrier trials at Royal Randwick. The Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott has been absolutely flying over the past month and if he brings his trial form to the races he will be very tough to beat.
Hawkesbury - Race 8 5.00pm AEST
Sugar Dance has been racing well this preparation and he finds himself in a very winnable race this afternoon. He is a lightly-raced horse that is still on the way up and he really does look to have far more upside than the rest of this field. Josh Adams has been riding well and he maps to get a lovely run into this race.
