Ladbrokes Park - Race 6 3.20pm AEST
Streetcar To Stars is the latest Lloyd Williams-owned import set to make his Australian racing debut. It has been an eternity since he has been seen at the races, but we have seen Williams win first-up with the likes of Almandin off very long breaks. I’m not saying that this horse is as good as Almandin, but if he performs at anywhere near his European form he will be tough to beat and the fact that Williams is willing to race him is a very positive sign.
Ladbrokes Park - Race 8 4.30pm AEST
Like To Think So recorded a dominant three lengths win at Bendigo last start and he has now recorded three wins from his seven race starts. He has drawn wide, but he does have early speed and I think that he is capable of crossing this field from the wide barrier draw. If he finds the front, he will prove tough to run down.
Warwick Farm - Race 5 3.10pm AEST
Shock Alert has always been a horse with plenty of ability and he returned to his best with a tough victory at Warwick Farm last start. This race this afternoon isn’t much tougher and he is good value to make it back-to-back wins. He has the speed to cross this field from the wide barrier draw and can lead from start to finish again.
Warwick - Race 6 3:45pm AEST
Tonsor has recorded two wins from his three race starts and he is a horse that still looks to have a fair amount of scope. Blake Shinn should be able to hold the lead from the inside barrier draw and that will make him very tough to beat. It would surprise if he isn’t able to progress his way through the grades.
