Kansas City Chiefs vs Los Angeles Chargers
There’s so much on the line today for both of these teams. A win for the Chiefs would see them lock up the AFC West, while the Chargers could clinch a playoff berth with an upset. There’s also plenty of subplots to keep an eye on, particularly the health of Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill. All reports indicate he’ll play, but if he’s less than 100%, life could be difficult for Patrick Mahomes. The Arrowhead atmosphere in Kansas City is a huge factor for the Chargers to overcome, but considering the Chiefs looked flat last week with a weakened running game, LA are capable of keeping this close.
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Toronto Maple Leafs
The Maple Leafs travel to Tampa today in what is shaping up to be a potential Eastern Conference Final preview. Toronto fell short against the Hurricanes on Wednesday away from home, but they’ll be looking to make amends against the Conference leaders. If Toronto start fast, they’re extremely tough to beat, but they’ll have their work cut out for them against the league’s leading goal-scoring team. Still, Toronto have lost back-to-back games only three times this year, so these are nice odds for a road upset.
Perth Wildcats v Sydney Kings
Big ladder implications are on the line tonight as the first placed Wildcats host the third placed Kings. These two teams did battle in Sydney last week, a game Perth lost by five-points. The Wildcats did manage to control the boards though, an encouraging sign heading into this one as the favourite. Perth hold a 10-2 record at home against the Kings, and there’s plenty of value to be had in the Margin market.
