Washington Capitals v Chicago Blackhawks
The Blackhawks are in the midst of a serious transition and rebuild phase. Long time coach Joe Quenneville was fired a fortnight ago after Chicago’s lousy start to the season, and things aren’t about to get any easier today against the reigning Cup champs on the road. Chicago have allowed the sixth most goals against in the league, and are currently 3-5-2 away from home.
Calgary Flames v Winnipeg Jets
Just three days after a vicious game against the Oilers, the Canadian rivalry continues today for the Flames against the Jets. Calgary have quickly become one of the more physical teams in the league, which in turn has led to turnovers and plenty of goals. Home ice advantage is huge in these type of games, and the Flames are are at a nice price to extend their winning streak to three.
Brisbane Bullets vs Illawarra Hawks
The Bullets have lost three straight games now but somehow enter tonight’s home clash against the Hawks as favourites. Illawarra have also lost back-to-back games, falling by as many as 25-points last week against the 36ers . Each side is tough to read with both sporting less than convincing records at the line. The Total Points has resulted in the Under in six of the Hawks’ last 11 games, so that looks the safest option.
