- 1st: #2 FIESTA ($6)
- 2nd: #6 PURE ELATION ($4)
- 3rd: #7 CRISTOBAL ($6)
Plenty of nice fillies in the race, but think the value lies in the Chris Waller-trained FIESTA ($6) who comes off the seventh in the Golden Slipper when only three lengths beaten from a bad barrier (16). She is in gate two here and Kerrin McEvoy retains the ride. A Group 3 winner with consistency and class. Can atone with a smoother ride. PURE ELATION ($4) the firming favourite for Team Snowden and obvious choice. She was runner-up to the subsequent Slipper winner two back at this track / distance before a win at the Farm over less metres by a big margin. Back up in class but ready to fire from a good gate with the win behind her. CRISTOBAL ($6) is another favourite in a wide open market with winning claims, the lightly-raced Godolphin-owned filly coming off a second to SUNLIGHT in the Magic Night Stakes from March 17 when only a length beaten.
