Rosehill Guineas Tips

Rosehill Guineas tips favour the promising young stayers in the field that come out of the earlier Sydney lead-up run in the Randwick Guineas.

The Randwick Guineas has produced more Rosehill Guineas than any other race and backing the first or second past the post in that mile clash is a good tip when it comes to the second of the Guineas races.

Backing in-form horses drawn inside of barrier eight and avoiding the fillies in the markets based on the historical data are other good Rosehill Guineas tips.

2018 Rosehill Guineas Tips

Our Ladbrokes’ insider Rosehill Guineas 2018 betting tips on the three-year-old autumn staying types to back and sack in the clash this autumn will be detailed below a few days out from the race so bookmark this page.

  • 1st: #2 VIN DE DANCE ($6)
  • 2nd: #14 MAIN STAGE ($21)
  • 3rd: #4 CLIFF’S EDGE ($7.50)

NZ Derby winner is proven on Heavy going and looks a huge hope to salute across the Tasman here. The NZ Derby – Rosehill Guineas double was achieved last year by GINGERNUTS who was the third Kiwi raider in five years to win the latter. VIN DE DANCE ($6) is the market mover for Saturday to repeat the feat and hand co-trainer Murray Baker another win after that of IT’S A DUNDEEL (2013). Wet track, barrier three looks a genuine winning hope. MAIN STAGE ($21) is at big odds after the flat Australian Guineas run (10th). Giving another chance back up to 2000m here and is a two-time placegetter in the mud. CLIFF’S EDGE ($7.50) doesn’t come off the right lead-up, but Darren Weir is a top trainer and this horse was dominant last Friday night at The Valley in the Group 2 Alister Clark, just needs to handle the Sydney way.

Rosehill Guineas Form Guide

The Rosehill Guineas form guide shows all the essential information on the field including the jockeys, trainers, barriers and lead-up form of all the horses.

Also checking out the starting barriers in the Rosehill Guineas form can give a guide to how a horse will perform on race day with just two winners jumping from wider than barrier eight since 2003.

Back-to-back Rosehill Guineas winners jumped from barrier two in 2015 and 2016 so inside draws can be a key thing to keep an eye on in the Group 1 autumn form guide for the race.

Rosehill Guineas Form Facts
