Bledisloe Cup 2018

Running since the 1930s, the Bledisloe Cup is a rugby union competition played between the national teams of Australia and New Zealand.

Since 2016, the Bledisloe Cup has consisted of three matches played annually, while two of the matches also count toward The Rugby Championship.

First instituted in 1931, New Zealand have claimed the Bledisloe Cup 46 times, and have have held the trophy from 2002 up until present.

Australia have won the Cup 12 times, including five on the trot from 1998 to 2002.

Both teams split home field advantage each year, with New Zealand receiving two home games in 2018 in Yokohama and Auckland. Traditionally, the first two games of the series are played in late August, while the third and final game is contested in late October.
