Pakenham Race 7 (2500m) - Sat 8th Dec 2018

Pakenham - VIC:

Overcast
Track: Good (3)
Pakenham Race 7
PAKENHAM CUP
Distance: 2500m
Race Time: 4:40 PM
Race Status: (Final) Closed
Race Comments:
KIWIA Returned to winning form with a strong win in the Ballarat Cup last start. Rises 2kg for the win however the weight rise is somewhat offset by an ideal barrier draw and is the one to beat again. OUR BIG MIKE Is a New Zealand-trained gelding who has been placed in both Australian runs at Kyneton and Moonee Valley. Only has to run out 2500m for the first time to be in the finish. PILOTE D'ESSAI Ran his best race this preparation when runner-up in the Ballarat Cup last start. Only has to repeat the effort here to be right in the mix. TALLY Returned to the winner’s list with a strong win in the Eclipse Stakes at Caulfield last start. The 60kg is a query but gets a soft run from an inside gate and rates a winning chance once again.
