Menangle - Race 4 8:43PM AEDT

No. 1 Navajo Outawagga

Although rising sharply in grade, this Cameron Ross trained mare does seem to be over the odds at her current quote, especially when you factor in her best form.

At her last outing, the former sandgroper raced well in a weaker race, overtaxing herself throughout before failing to obtain clear running at a pivotal stage.

Undoubtedly this six-year-old mare would have troubled the winner of that event.

Drawn suitably in barrier one, and likely to be suited by the faster tempo of racing at Menangle, this daughter of Million Dollar Cam is likely to enjoy a comfortable trip throughout this evening with driver Jack Callaghan aboard, and does seem to be a good rougbie.

Menangle - Race 5 9:13PM AEDT

No. 9 Admiral Bronski

This Belinda McCarthy trained entire has mixed his form this campaign, but off the back of a recent trial, the son of Art Major should acquit himself to a nicety in this event.

Returning to the care of the McCarthy stable after a sole start for Amanda Grieve in Victoria, this gelding boasts twelve Menangle victories, the most of any runner engaged in this event.

Although his recent race form does not read well in comparison to a few of the other key chances, a narrow defeat in a two horse trial at Menangle nine days ago behind superstar trotter Alderbaran Revani puts him in good stead for this race.

Likely to follow key rival My Ultimate Star across from the wide alley, if this gelding is able to recapture some of his best form he will be winning this event with top driver Luke McCarthy taking the reins.

Menangle - Race 7 10:10PM AEST

No. 7 Majestic Hurricane

This much travelled trotter made an encouraging debut for the KerryAnn Morris stable six days ago, and looks well placed in this event.

Racing in a marginally stronger event last Saturday, this powerful trotter lead and held off all challengers, excluding a star in the making in the form of Watts Up Majestic, beaten only 1.5m.

With limited speed drawn to his inside, this gelding should be able to cross and lead with driver Rob Morris steering, and from the position he will take a power of running down.
