Played predominantly through winter, Rugby is traditionally most prevalent in New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT but has steadily built in support throughout the entire nation over recent decades.

The Super Rugby competition figures as the foremost club tournament in the Southern Hemisphere; contested by 15 teams from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa (five from each). With the continued growth of the Super Rugby competition, so too has Rugby Union betting gained traction and markets are now available on everything from Head to Head, Line betting and first means of point scoring.

Despite boasting several impressive provincial competitions the world over, Rugby Union is undoubtedly at its pinnacle at International level. A founding member of the Tri-Nations tournament, Australia now contests the Rugby Championship yearly alongside fierce rivals New Zealand, South Africa and new addition Argentina, who were admitted to the competition in 2012 following a string of impressive results at the Rugby World Cup.
