UNHINGED (10) looks well placed to break his maiden today on the Illawarra Grange.
The Snitzel colt finished off the pace over 1200m at Canterbury when resuming but was only just denied under James McDonald at Randwick-Kensington last time out.
With further improvement and McDonald retaining the ride today, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

DONATELLO (5) returns to action at Illawarra Grange.
Donatello hasn’t been seen at the races since May, but he continued to improve with racing during his debut prep and ultimately broke his maiden at Hawkesbury.
Having had the benefit of a couple of trials ahead of today’s return, he’s another one that is boosted by the booking of James McDonald.
SONIC BENDER (8) is third up and primed to strike at Illawarra Grange today.
Sonic Bender clearly needed his first run back this time to tune up when he failed to beat a runner home on the main course here at Kembla, but he turned in a vastly improved performance to fill the minors behind Think Itz You at Newcastle last time.
Fitter third-up, he looks well placed this afternoon.
CENTIMETRE (2can keep alive an unbeaten record at Illawarra Grange today.
He has only made one competitive appearance at the races so far, but Centimetre couldn’t have been more impressive when hitting the line to get up over 1200m at Goulburn.
This is a harder race, but he’s got plenty of upside and can certainly go on with it.
