READL COMEDY (12) resumes in a winnable race today at Seymour.
The King Of Comedy gelding only made one appearance over in New Zealand during his debut prep, working home to finish second at Wanganui.
Having had a couple of trials ahead of today’s return, this looks a nice campaign launchpad.

MELEK (4) is third up and primed to strike at Seymour.
The St Jean gelding won on debut at the Caulfield Heath back in December, and after finishing off the pace at Sandown first up this time, he relished getting further out in trip when only just denied over 2000m at Ballarat last time out.
Fitter third-up and from the good draw, he’ll be tough to beat this week.

PARCAE (9) can keep alive an unbeaten record at Seymour today.
The Blue Point filly trialled up well before kicking away to record an impressive and easy victory on debut at Mornington last time.
While facing a rise in class today, she’s clearly got plenty of ability and can go on with it.
| 14. Parcae (8) J: Michael Dee 56kg 1 T: Anthony & Sam Freedman |
DETONATOR JACK (4) is the one for me in this afternoon’s Seymour Cup.
Detonator Jack has picked off plenty of nice races throughout his career and was freshened inro a decent enough performance for fourth in the Group 3 JRA Cup at Caulfield a couple of weeks ago.
I’m confident that run will have brought him right back on and at around the $9 mark (at publish), each way all day.
