Chris Waller’s first-up specialist Firestorm ($7.50) was brilliant fresh with the bonny four-year-old flashing home right down the outside off a perfectly timed ride by Jason Collett to retain her unbeaten record at Rosehill with a narrow but convincing victory in the 2025 Millie Fox Stakes results.

Run over 1300m under set weights plus penalties conditions the race offers $300,000 in total prize money including $170,000 to the Millie Fox Stakes winner. The race is a key lead-up to some top autumn features.

Group 1 races could be on the agenda next for the fillies and mares coming out of the Millie Fox Stakes including the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) back at the track the following month and Randwick’s Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m) in April during The Championships.
