We’re offering the best odds on the widest range of markets on all Super Rugby fixtures in Round 7
Hurricanes vs Rebels
The Hurricanes remain undefeated and perched atop the Super Rugby ladder with a perfect record of five wins from as many matches this season. Boasting All Blacks talent in both their forward and back lines, their ability to muscle quality opposition out of tight contests has arguably been their most impressive trait this season; namely away to the Highlanders in Round 6. Offered a great opportunity to post a valuable win at home last week, the Rebels allowed the lowly Lions far too many chances and will view the match as one that got away. Charged with overcoming the league’s standout in Wellington, things don’t look like improving for the Rebels on Friday afternoon.

Reds vs Lions
In a match that could realistically go either way, the out-of-form Reds host the Lions in Friday’s second Super Rugby fixture. From a form perspective, the Reds are currently rooted to the bottom of the Australian conference and are second-last in overall standings, while the Lions are tied last in the South African conference but enter this match off the back of a confidence-boosting win over the Rebels. Queensland is set to welcome back the likes of Quade Cooper and James O’Connor for the first time this season, which may prove the difference for the home side in Round 7.

Chiefs vs Cheetahs
The Chiefs have returned to competition in typically slick form this season and will be eager to return to their winning ways at home on Saturday after going down to the Sharks by a solitary point in Durban last weekend. The Cheetahs’ first half effort against the Crusaders in Christchurch last week was commendable but their inability to play out a full 80 minutes of rugby ended up costing them their dignity when finishing on the wrong end of a 57-14 scoreline. While more than capable of holding their own against other South African teams, the Cheetahs look destined to suffer a similar result in Waikato this weekend.

Highlanders vs Stormers
The Highlanders pushed the Hurricanes to the limit last weekend and will be faced with a similarly difficult task in a Stormers side fresh off a Round 6 bye. In what may figure as a good omen for the touring South Africans, The Highlanders are winless in their seven most recent meetings with the Stormers. Interestingly, the Stormers have kicked more penalties and drop goals than any other Super Rugby team this season, so selecting a kick as the first means of points scored in this match may figure as a smart betting play.

Waratahs vs Blues
The defending champions got off to something of a slow start this season despite securing several wins but well and truly stamped there claims as serious contenders when comfortably overcoming the conference-leading Brumbies last weekend. The Blues on the other hand have been nothing short of woeful this season and remain cemented to the bottom of overall standings. With Auckland confirming exciting talent Ihaia West will not take to the field in this encounter, the Waratahs should figure as a selection in any Super Rugby multi bet placed this weekend.

Sharks vs Force
The Sharks have been somewhat inconsistent this season but will be full of confidence ahead of their match with the Western Force on Sunday after securing a nail-biting win over the Chiefs in Round 6. The Force played out a tight encounter of their own in South Africa last week but were unlucky to lose to the Bulls by a single point. The Sharks have been forced to rest the likes of Cobus Reinach, Marcell Coetzee and Pat Lambie this week, while Captain Bismark Du Plessis is suspended after kicking an opponent in the face last weekend. As a result, backing the Force for an upset victory has every chance of paying off.

Bulls vs Crusaders
The Crusaders have posted comfortable victories over South African competition in their two most recent matches but are undoubtedly faced with a tougher task when travelling to the Pretoria to face the Bulls early Sunday morning. The home team will undoubtedly take plenty of positives from their tight win last week but have lost their two most recent matches against the Crusaders at home and may find it difficult to keep physical Canterbury pack contained.
