There was very little between these two teams when they met in the semi-finals of the Champions League 12 months ago and I expect another very tight contest in the early hours of the morning. Atletico Madrid have proven time and time again that they are extremely tough to beat at home in European competition and they should be able to come away with a point.
This is a crucial game for both sides and I expect that both managers will go into this clash with a conservative mindset. They both defended well against superior opposition in the first matchday of the Champions League group stage and a low-scoring draw is an excellent betting play in this fixture.

Napoli have proven tough to breakdown so far this season in the Serie A and they go into this clash after recording a comfortable 2-0 victory over Chievo. I expect a similar result in this clash – Benfica have been played well, but the home ground advantage will be enough to swing the fixture in favour of the Italian outfit.
