The Wellington Phoenix have not started a game as favourites in over a month and it is very difficult to get them as short as their current price. Central Coast are also tough to trust from a betting standpoint, but they did beat Wellington in Wellington last year and there is no way they should be as long as their current price.
Melbourne United have been in excellent form in the past month and they will be very tough to beat in this clash. Melbourne are 8-7 against the line as home favourites this season, while the Cairns Taipans have won just three of their past 12 games as away underdogs. The line of 4.5 points will not be enough.
Sydney FC will start this clash as dominant favourites and they were outstanding against the Western Sydney Wanderers earlier this season. There is generally not as much between these two sides and the Wanderers have played out plenty of stalemates this season, while Sydney FC have won only four of their past ten games as home favourites.
Southampton have lost three games in a row in the English Premier League and I am happy to take them on this weekend. Burnley have played some solid football in recent weeks and they have won six of their nine games as away underdogs for a very big profit. $3.50 is well over the odds and they are a great value bet.
