Flemington - Race 3 1:30pm AEDT
Fastnet Tempest finds himself in a lovely race at Flemington this afternoon. He has improved each time that he has been seen at the races since he arrived in Australia and he savaged the line when he finished second in the Ladbrokes Sale Cup. Flemington is an ideal venue for him and on his best form in Europe he is clearly the horse to beat.
Flemington - Race 5 2.50pm AEDT
Qewy is as tough as they come and he can continue his stellar record in Australia with a win in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes. He outstayed his rivals to win the Bendigo Cup and this isn’t much harder. Kerrin McEvoy will turn this into a staying test a long way from home and he will prove very hard to get past late.
Flemington - Race 7 4.10pm AEDT
Redzel has recorded five wins on the trot and he can secure his title as the best sprinter in Australia with a win in the Darley Classic. He could hardly have been impressive in The Everest and he has previously won down the famous Flemington straight. His outstanding gate speed should ensure that he finds the best ground on the outside rail and that will make him very tough to bet.
Flemington - Race 9 5.45pm AEDT
Muraaqeb drops back in class after he ran well in the Blue Sapphire and before that he won at The Valley. This is a fairly open race that includes a couple of overrated gallopers and there is no reason that he should be as long at his current price. He is well and truly over the odds at the current price.
