The Canterbury Bulldogs were not disgraced in the opening round of the season against the Melbourne Storm and they showed some promising signs. The Sydney Roosters were awful against the Wests Tigers in their season opener and they are an extremely poor 6-14 against the line as favourites over the past year.
Melbourne United have been nothing short of outstanding in the second half of the NBL season and they are the team to beat in the NBL Grand Final Series. They have won 12 of their past 15 games as home favourites and they are 9-1-5 against the line in this situation, while they have won six of their past seven games against Adelaide.
The Brisbane Broncos had plenty of issues when they lost their season opener against the St George Illawarra Dragons and this could get ugly if they don’t improve. The North Queensland Cowboys were excellent away from home last season and they have covered the line in their past four games as away favourites.
