Randwick - Race 4 3:10pm AEST

No. 5 Duchess Of Lennox

Duchess Of Lennox has been racing well without winning this campaign and this contest is a genuine drop in quality. The step-up to 1800 metres is ideal for her and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with James McDonald in the saddle. This is her opportunity to return to winning form.

No. 9 Camp Rifle

Camp Rifle has recorded two wins from his three race starts and there is no reason that he can’t win again at Randwick this afternoon. He showed a lovely turn-of-foot to fly home to win a Wyong late and I like the fact that trainer James Cummings has given him a barrier trial between race starts. The Shooting To Win gelding has plenty of upside.

Randwick - Race 7 4:55pm AEST

No. 1 Autumn

Autumn was not disgraced at Group 1 level during her Autumn campaign and she returned to the races with a fast finishing second place finish at Canterbury. I think that she will be better over further, but she definitely took some improvement from that performance and she is the class runner in this field.

Randwick - Race 8 5:30pm AEST

No. 2 Coterie

Coterie is not the most consistent horse in the world, but he is capable of producing a high-rating performance on his day. He has won first-up in the past and his recent barrier trial performance behind True Detective was strong. The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal, but he does have early speed and will roll forward in the early stages of this contest.
