RTG 78+ Handicap (1500m)
Western Temple has some pretty handy form with three thirds and a win from his last four starts at Ascot and Belmont and will get a nice run from the inside gate with William Pike in charge of the reins. Abdicator is a last start Ascot winner over 1400m but is up 2kg in the weights. Superior Smile is fitter for one run back from a spell and Cockney Crew is dropping back in distance and has had a freshen up since winning over 1800m at Ascot six weeks ago.

RTG 66+ (1800m)
British Bessy is dropping back from a win over 2150m at Ascot to the 1800m
and has William Pike in the saddle to compensate for a wide barrier. Royal
Command is a two times winner over this course and distance and is in winning
form with a last start win over 1400m at Ascot but still has plenty of weight
to carry even with apprentice Chris Graham’s claim. Locomotive is a last start
winner over the Ascot 1800m course and Sophie’s Song hasn’t been far off the
mark of late with two placings from her last two starts.

Tattersall’s Cup (2100m)
Forceful has solid form with two seconds and a win from his last three
starts and will get every chance to find the winner’s stall again after drawing
the inside gate. Missile Launch has also been racing consistently with two
placings and a win from his three most recent starts and should be thereabouts
again. Taxagano is up 2.5kg after winning the Ascot Gold Cup over 1800m and
Friar Fox made up some ground from the back to finish fourth behind Taxagano.

Race 6 - 3:35pm
Platinum Series Final (1400m)
Not To Be Mist, Lacevinsky and Dickoletto are set to line up again against
each other after finishing first, second and third in a 1400m 0MW Handicap at
Ascot a fortnight ago. Dickoletto has drawn in close and is certain to get a
nice run from gate three and gets his chance to turn the tables on the other
two. Sir Mambo’s overall form is very sound and he could figure in proceedings

Country Championship Final (1200m)
Mr Genoa has won his last three starts at Kalgoorlie in the lead up to the
Country Championship Final and will be hard to beat again from the inside gate.
M’Lady also has winning form with three victories at Geraldton on her way to
Perth and looks likely to be in the mix again. Wild Fusion and Magic Opus ran
the quinella at Albany at their latest starts.

Winterbottom Stakes (1200m)
Trekking has the form on the board and has a great chance to notch up another Group 1 win in the Winterbottom Stakes. The James Cummings trained Trekking was the winner of the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap during the 2019 Brisbane Winter Carnival and returned from a spell for a second up win in the Group 2 Schillaci Stakes at Caulfield in mid October before running third in The Everest at Randwick the following week. The five year old has drawn in close at gate four and has Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle again. Hey Doc was gallant at his first run back when third in the Group 3 Heffernan Stakes at Sandown and will be improved with that run under his belt. Vital Silver is a good chance for the locals and is coming off a last start second in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes at The Valley and the only three year old in the race, Dubious, has always shown plenty of potential and has Melbourne Cup winning jockey Craig Williams in the saddle.
