Canterbury - Race 2 6:45pm AEDT

No. 7 Diamonds And Rust

Diamonds And Rust finished second behind the talented Starla at Canterbury last start and the form coming out of that race has been strong. Tommy Berry should be able to take her to the front in the early stages of this contest and a repeat of her last start effort at the same venue would make her tough to run down.

Canterbury - Race 5 8:15pm AEDT

No. 1 Ashrarani

Ashrarani is the class horse in this field and she has an excellent chance to make a winning return to the races. She has recorded two wins from as many first-up starts and her fresh runs are generally her highest-rating performances. Barrier five is ideal and the $5.50 currently available is over the odds.

Canterbury - Race 7 9:15pm AEDT

No. 1 El Mo

El Mo has put together an excellent record and his form this campaign has been very strong. He has been freshened up since he finished fourth at Royal Randwick on Bondi Stakes Day and that is a shrewd move from trainer Gayna Williams. Barrier three is ideal and she will be able to settle right on the speed in the early stages.

Cranbourne - Race 8 9:30pm AEDT

No. 2 Write Enuff

Write Enuff has an excellent chance to return to winning form. She was only narrowly denied at The Valley first-up and last start she had absolutely no luck in running whatsoever, but was still able to finish a close second. She should get a lovely run in transit from barrier five and on her best form she does have an edge over the rest of this field.
