The Valley - Race 2 1:30pm AEDT

No. 7 November Dreaming

November Dreaming comes into this contest on the back of a very impressive win at Kyneton on Kyneton Cup Day and a repeat of that effort make her very tough to beat in this contest. Linda Meech will be able to take her straight to the front in the early stages and there is no better judge of pace in the country.

The Valley - Race 4 2:40pm AEDT

No. 6 Wagner

Wager is the only horse with any real upside in this field and he is well-placed to make a winning return to the races. He has recorded two wins from his three previous first-up starts and he is capable of a high-rating performance on his day. The speed will be on early and he should be able to finish over the top of his rivals.

The Valley - Race 8 5:20pm AEDT

No. 6 Secret Blaze

There was a lot to like about the way that Secret Blaze found the line when he won at Morphettville last start and he still has the scope to improve on that performance. The step-up to 2040 metres is ideal for him and he does have the tactical versatility to overcome the wide barrier draw. He has an excellent chance to make it two wins on the trot.

Ascot - Race 8 7:50pm AEDT

No. 1 Trekking

Trekking looks extremely well-placed in the Winterbottom Stakes. He finished an excellent third behind Yes Yes Yes and Santa Ana Lane in The Everest before he chased home Pierata in the Redzel Stakes. There are no horses of that quality in this field and he is a good bet to claim another Group 1 win.
