Rosehill Gardens - Race 1 1:15pm AEDT

No. 1 Hinchbeast

Hinchbeast showed good early speed to lead from start to finish at Rosehill Gardens on debut and he is a colt with serious talent. He should take good improvement from that performance and Hugh Bowman will have no trouble finding the front from barrier one. There is no reason he can’t make it two wins from as many starts.

Pakenham - Race 3 2:05pm AEDT

No. 7 Neighbourhood

Neighbourhood is a mare with plenty of upside and she returned to the races with a career best victory at Ladbrokes Park. This race really isn’t that much tougher and a repeat of her last start effort would make her very tough to beat in this company. She maps to get a lovely run in transit and should have no excuses.

Doomben - Race 8 5:48pm AEDT

No. 1 The Candy Man

The Candy Man returned to Queensland with a dominant victory in the Mooloolaba Cup at the Sunshine Coast and there is no reason that he can’t make it back-to-back wins in the Brisbane Handicap. He clearly has a liking to Doomben and he has recorded three wins from as many starts at the venue.

Ascot - Race 8 7:50pm AEDT

No. 3 Tally

Tally is well and truly over the odds at his current quote of $20. His last start effort at Ascot was nothing short of a barrier trial and his form before that had been outstanding. He finished a close second behind Happy Clapper in the Craven Plate and his victory in the Rosehill Gold Cup was full of merit.
