Sha Tin - Race 4 4.40pm AEDT

No. 11 Lucky Lilac

I am happy to take on Exultant in the Hong Kong Vase and it is Lucky Lilac that offers outstanding value at the current price. Japanese staying form is the best in the world, as we have seen in Australia on a number of occasions, and she comes into this race on the back of a maiden Group 1 victory in The Queen Elizabeth 2 Cup.

Sha Tin - Race 5 5.20pm AEDT

No. 7 Danon Smash

Danon Smash is an outstanding each-way bet at the current odds of $18. He beat a strong field to win the Kenneland Cup in Sapporo and he wasn’t beaten far in The Sprinters Stakes. The form coming out of that race generally stacks up in the Hong Kong Sprint and he is capable of upsetting short-priced favourite Aethero.

Sha Tin - Race 7 6.30pm AEDT

No. 2 Indy Champ

Beauty Generation looks like something of a spent force and Indy Champ is the horse to beat in the Hong Kong Mile. Indy Champ beat Almond Eye to win the Yasuda Kinen in Tokyo and he backed that win up with an even more impressive victory in The Mile Championship. He is a star and can stamp himself as one of the best milers in the world.

Sha Tin - Race 8 7.10pm AEDT

No. 1 Win Bright

Win Bright beat Exultant and Lys Gracieux to win the Queen Elizabeth II Cup in Hong Kong earlier this year and the form coming out of that race has been extremely strong. His two race starts in Japan this campaign have been a little bit flat, but this has always been his major target and his best form does give him an edge over the rest of this field.
