Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 1 4:15pm AEDT

No. 6 Bella Amore

Bella Amore has been racing well without winning this campaign and the form around her has been strong. She should now be at peak fitness and the step-up to 1400 metres does look ideal for her. The Snitzel filly will get a lovely run in transit from the inside barrier draw and has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win.

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 4 6:00pm AEDT

No. 9 La Lucciola

La Lucciola beat a quality field to record a maiden race win at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start and she still has the scope to improve on that performance. She has drawn a wide barrier, but she does have early speed and Damien Oliver should be able to find the lead fairly comfortable. The daughter of Snitzel will give her rivals something to catch.

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 6 7:00pm AEDT

No. 2 Reliabelle

Reliabelle is well and truly over the odds at her current price. She doesn’t win out of turn, but she is a consistent performer and she is going well this campaign. Her win a couple of starts ago at Moe was excellent and she found the line nicely to finish third in a tougher race than this one.

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 7 7:30pm AEDT

No. 2 Petruchio

Petruchio has improved in each of his two race starts since he arrived in Australia and he is well-placed to get the job done in this contest. The step-up to 1800 metres looks ideal for him and Fred Kersley should be able to settle him in a lovely position. He is deserving of his status as a clear favourite.
