Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 4 4:50pm AEDT

No. 5 Prism

This looks like an ideal race for Prism. There has been plenty to like about her past two race starts at The Valley and Caulfield and this is a genuine drop in quality. The All Too Hard mare will need a little bit of luck in running with Jye McNeil in the saddle, but on her best form she does have an edge over the rest of this field.

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 5 5:25pm AEDT

No. 4 Tatalina

Tatalina has run some strong closing sectionals in her past two race starts and the step-up to 2400 metres will be ideal for her. Luke Currie will be able to give her a lovely run in transit from barrier six and she will have every possible chance to return to winning form. I think that she will start shorter than the current odds suggest.

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 7 6:30pm AEDT

No. 6 Pinyin

Pinyin doesn’t win out of turn, but this is a lovely race for the Wanted mare. She has finished in the placings in each of her race starts this campaign and the way that she found the line last start at Flemington was particularly impressive. Jessica Eaton can settle her closer to the speed from barrier four and will be tough to hold out late.

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 8 7:00pm AEDT

No. 2 Bam’s On Fire

This is d-day for Bam’s On Fire. Bam’s On Fire has finished in the placings in her three race starts to date this campaign and this is a genuine drop in quality. The Universal Ruler mare hasn’t had a huge amount of luck in running this preparation and she should get that from barrier five in this contest.
