Pakenham - Race 4 7:30pm AEDT

No. 6 Finesse Tess

Finesse Tess has an excellent chance to break through for a maiden race win at Pakenham this evening. She has raced well without winning in her past two starts at Cranbourne and Werribee and on exposed form she does look to have a clear class edge over the rest of this field. Brett Prebble will settle her right on the speed and she will prove tough to hold out.

Pakenham - Race 5 8:00pm AEDT

No. 3 Mrs O’Malley

Enver Jusufovic is the master of placing his horses where they can win and this looks like a lovely race for Mrs O’Malley. She did have excuses when she was beaten first-up and she should improve with that run under her belt. This race is no tougher and the Street Boss mare should be able to return to winning form.

Pakenham - Race 7 9:00pm AEDT

No. 6 Lady D’oro

Lady D’oro was able to break through for a classy maiden win at Pakenham last start and she is a filly with plenty of upside. The form coming out of her last start win has been strong and the way that she makes her own luck right on the speed is highly likeable. The $3 currently available is over the odds and I think she will start shorter.

Pakenham - Race 8 9:30pm AEDT

No. 8 The Boy Wonder

The Boy Wonder doesn’t win out of turn, but he is value in what is an open race at Pakenham tonight. His win a couple of starts ago at Echuca was excellent and he found the line nicely at Ladbrokes Park last start. He will settle in the second half of the field and will be storming home late.
