Nowra - Race 5 3:25pm AEDT

No. 8 Express Princess

Express Princess has recorded two wins on the trot and there is no reason that she can’t continue her winning ways. She scored dominant victories in her past two starts at Nowra and Bathurst and this contest isn’t that much tougher. The Shamexpress filly will go forward from a wide barrier draw and prove tough to run down.

Nowra - Race 6 4:05pm AEDT

No. 8 Moralist

Moralist has an excellent first-up record and he is well-placed to make a return to winning return to the races. The Uncle Mo gelding has recorded two wins from as many starts at Nowra and his barrier trial at Rosehill Gardens ahead of his return to the races was excellent. He maps to get a lovely run in transit and will prove very tough to beat.

Nowra - Race 7 4:45pm AEDT

No. 6 Julian Rock

This is an interesting edition of the Country Championships Qualifier. Julian Rock doesn’t win out of turn, but this does look like an excellent race for him. He could hardly have been more impressive at Randwick a couple of starts ago and he didn’t have a great deal of luck at Rosehill Gardens last start. On his best form, he does have a class edge over the rest of this field.

Nowra - Race 8 5:25pm AEDT

No. 3 My Sweet Fish

My Sweet Fish is a better filly than her first-up effort at Kembla Grange suggests and I think that she should improve on that performance. Her form last campaign was strong and she has won her previous race start at Kembla Grange. She will settle in the second half of the field and will be flying home late.
