Newcastle - Race 4 3:55pm AEDT

No. 6 Pride Of Adelaide

The scratchings have left Pride Of Adelaide as clearly the horse to beat in this contest. He has found the line nicely in each of his race starts and he looks ready to peak in this contest. This is his opportunity to claim a maiden race win.

Newcastle - Race 5 4:35pm AEDT

No. 1 Go Fish Go

Go Fish Go returned to winning form with a tough effort at Kembla Grange last start and I don’t think that this race is that much tougher. Tom Sherry can ride him aggressively in the early stages of this contest and I still think that he has the scope to improve. He is well-placed to make it two wins on the trot.

Newcastle - Race 6 5:15pm AEDT

No. 1 Apollo Prince

It has been a long time between race starts for Apollo Prince, but his recent barrier trial efforts suggest that he is fairly forward for his return to the races. His win on debut at Newcastle was full of quality and there is no doubt that he has serious talent. Tom Sherry will take him straight to the front and prove tough to run down.

Newcastle - Race 7 5:55pm AEDT

No. 4 Entitlement

Bjorn Baker has found a very winnable race for Entitlement. He didn’t have any luck in running at Newcastle last start and his form before that had been strong. Barrier six is ideal for him and he should have every possible chance in the run.
