Pakenham - Race 4 7:30pm AEDT

No. 7 Relucent

Relucent will be better over further, but there is no doubt that he is the class galloper in this field. He finished a more than credible fourth in the Victoria Derby and his form before that over shorter distances was strong. He is very well-placed to record a maiden race victory.

Pakenham - Race 5 8:00pm AEDT

No. 1 Neneka

Neneka has recorded three wins from his six race starts and there is no reason that he can’t continue his winning ways. He showed plenty of toughness to lead from start to finish at Pakenham last start and Michael Dee should be able to find the front fairly easily once again. $4.60 is well and truly over the odds.

Pakenham - Race 7 9:00pm AEDT

No. 2 Necessary

This is a lovely race for Necessary. Her win at Cranbourne two starts ago was excellent and she wasn’t disgraced when she took on a much stronger field than this at Caulfield last start. This is a genuine drop in quality and she is well-placed to claim another race win.

Pakenham - Race 8 9:30pm AEDT

No. 2 Indernile

The host of scratchings have left Indernile as clearly the horse to beat in this contest. He has gone to another level this campaign and there has been plenty of merit in his past two race starts. Barrier four is ideal and he will have every possible chance in the run.
