The Valley - Race 1 6:30pm AEDT

No. 5 Alienated

Alienated is a very tough stayer and there is no reason that he can’t continue his winning ways in this contest. He has now recorded four wins from as many race starts over 3000 metres and he clearly loves this distance. Georgina Cartwright can ride him aggressively in the early stages and can turn this into a genuine staying contest.

The Valley - Race 3 7:30pm AEDT

No. 3 Meteorite

It has been a while between race starts for Meteorite, but on exposed form he does look to have an edge over the rest of this field. He led from start to finish to record an absolutely dominant effort at The Valley and a repeat of that effort would make him very tough to beat. Luke Currie will settle him right on the speed and he will give his rivals something to catch.

The Valley - Race 5 8:30pm AEDT

No. 1 Our Gladiator

Our Gladiator is well and truly over the odds at her current quote of $8.50. She has recorded three wins from his six race starts and she is a short course specialist. Jerome Hunter has an excellent record in the Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge and he has clearly set the Mint Lane mare for a first-up tilt at this race.

The Valley - Race 7 9:10pm AEDT

No. 4 Sassy Salitage

Sassy Salitage is the horse to beat in what is an excellent edition of the Typhoon Tracy Stakes. She has recorded two wins from her three race starts to date and her only defeat came at the hands of Exhilarates in the Atlantic Jewel Stakes. Barrier two is perfect for her and Damien Oliver will be able to settle her right on the speed.
